Perception Is Reality. Let's think about that for a moment. We might think we have control of how people perceive us. We talk a certain way or behave a certain way in order to make sure that other's perception of us is what we desire. Some do this subconsciously while others do this deliberately. What most don't realize is that it doesn't matter what we do or say, ultimately others will come to their own conclusions. If we are fortunate, it works in our favor. Such a Shame

We have attached the word shaming to just about everything. Thin Shaming, Fat Shaming, Slut Shaming, Short Shaming, Tall Shaming, Smart Shaming, Dumb Shaming and Bitch Shaming. Wait, is that a thing?  Let’s talk about Slut Shaming for a bit. The hot topic of the Halloween season was slutty costumes. I know I am a few days late and that may explain my low blog following but, I’m discussing it now. So humor me a bit, all two of you.   So where were we? Slut Shaming! When I was younger and a little more… uh, slender, I used to like dressing up and showing a little skin. Nothing too sexy but enough to turn a couple of heads. That was my comfort level. I have no problem with women going out and being that “sexy” professor or “sexy” dog catcher (ironic…) anyway, to each their own. So have at it, you sexy swashbuckler, you! Eating Healthy~ One Step At A Time

I don't claim to be a nutritionist by any means. I'm sure that this list is far from what most would consider, organic or free range or whatever. I am very pleased with my grocery purchases for this week. 3 single serving salmon steaks from the butcher 2 top sirloin steaks Sliced turkey  Green leaf lettuce (replacing pita bread) Bag o'carrots 2 baskets of strawberries, big basket of blue berries (froze half for smoothies and prepped the rest for snacks during the week) Big bag of snap peas (salad and snacks for the week) Spinach (salads) 2 Necturines (snack and some for white sangria) 2 bottles of white wine (sush!) 1/2 gallon of coconut milk (breakfast smoothies) 2 cucumbers (water, so refreshing) 2 lemons (salmon and dressing) 1 bundle of green onions (salmon, steak, and whatever else for flavor) 1 bag of frozen uncooked shrimp Plus some misc. items such as, Popchips for the occasional crunch, because I do what I want, personal trainer!
